This week in anguish:
- The less said about the Canucks' week-long collapse, the better, so...
- We waste no time in firing up the Wayback Machine. The Canucks are getting their second chance at their own airplane in 1991 (which leads to a discussion about the comparative difficulty of travel schedules), a once-ballyhooed 4th overall pick plays his first game in 2001 (which leads to a discussion of Mr. Juolevi, of course), and the Canucks weren't exactly a juggernaut by the time of the trade deadline in 2011 (which leads to a discussion of that tricky month of March).
- You can tell we really want to avoid the on-ice events this week by the fact that we devote a good 20 minutes to discussing the murky history of Canucks mascots. Do you remember Lil' Red? The Canuck Duck? Prankster Bear? Well, it's all just a prelude to Tristan's marine biology presentation, anyhow.
