This week in anguish:
- We're a bit stir-crazy, and our scattershot opening segment sees us calling out owners, the Athletic, fate, and humanity in general.
- But hey, Will Lockwood signed, and let's not forget that Vasili Podkolzin was having a heck of a year before everything got shuttered.
- Ardella can't quite bring herself to point the Time Machine in the usual directions, but makes enlightening stops instead at previous league-stoppages to see how players responded in the past, and then all the way back to 1919 to take a closer look at the lost Stanley Cup series between the Canadiens and Metropolitans.
- For the next episode, we're going to be watching the 1979 Canucks defeat the St. Louis Blues, and enjoying Corey Hirsch putting a temporary stop to the aspirations of the Cup-bound Avalanche in 1996.
