This week in anguish: 

- Nothing is happening, and we have a lot to say about it. Ever dauntless, Ardella has fresh research on relative ages of Canucks captains, thoughts on the Bo Horvat video conference, and predictions about the end-of-year team awards.

- We watched two vintage Canucks games this week: friends of the pod Jyrki Lumme and Corey Hirsch dispatched the Avalanche in 1996, and Harold Snepsts and baby-Smyl put paid to the Blues in 1979.

- Next week we'll be watching through our fingers as the Canucks go down swinging to the (ugh) Flames in overtime of game 7 in the 1989 conference quarterfinals.
