This week in anguish:

- Five years with the length of five years have passed since the last Canucks post-season game. We take our emotional temperatures and try to decide whether this feels more like 2015 or 2011.

-  Hearty applause for Matt Dumba and the Hockey Diversity Alliance, medium applause for HNIC's intro that zeroed in on the lived experiences of hockey players of colour, and many bemused stares at the NHL's creative anthem choreographies.

- Ardella joins forces with Tennyson and goes Kraken hunting.

- Just when we thought we were free, Thomas Drance interviews Jim Benning and we're dragged right back into re-litigating the truth-adjacent history of this regime. Why won't Jim just be honest with us? The words "Gustav Forsling" are uttered on this podcast for hopefully the last time.

- How Did We Not Know that both the development of Rodrigo Abols and the outcome of the Nucks vs. Wild series are likely to be governed by Gumperson's Law?

- With a heavy heart, Your Moment of Sven was likely retired for good following Baertschi's decision to opt out of the postseason. Tristan unveils its successor segment, A Stech in Time.
